This afternoon we returned from a 3-day fling on San Diego. Mike and his class had a TDY there so I tagged along along with a friend, the wife of a guy in Mike's class. We had fun, enjoyed the beauty of another part of the country, and I learned a lot about military life that I hadn't known.

Hey, your posting is picking up. Proud of you! I text you a few times and havent heard from you...did you get them? Glad you had fun in San Diego! Are your parents ok? I heard there were fires in Austin.
