Looking Back...

June 26: My 26th birthday...had a nice breakfast out with Mikey, watched the World Cup at a co-worker's house, went to a wedding.

Lots of birthday wishes from all of the wonderful people in my life!

June 31: My sweet friend Carmen and I worked on curtains and a crib skirt for her nursery which will be all comfy and ready for it's occupant who will arrive at the end of August!

July 1: Mom and Dad Padilla drove in for the weekend...lots of movies and vegging out, a break for them from being awesome and involved granparents in KY.

July 2: Mike took his final exam and PASSED! We are so thankful, he's worked hard for 2 1/2 years and has earned his MBA.

July 3: Our first Sunday in the 3 year old classroom...what a challenge and awesome opportunity to put into practice all the wonderful things we've been learning about biblical parenting, even though we have no children!


Looking Ahead...

This week every night is already filled! I think we're going to have fun with this new freedom we have now that Mike's done with school. Yay!

We're teaching the 3 year olds this month dut=ring the church service. Lots of good experience and lessons for us to learn.

Early August: We're heading to WY for Natalie's wedding. I'm so excited, can't wait to see Nina and the whole Connell family!

Late August: Heading to Omaha for an air show, Armand and Jelaine are flying me up with Mike! Wow. Looking forward to seeing little Trey, our godson, and hopefully Jelaine will deliver their little girl while we're there!

September: Stph and J are flying me out!! Oh, so exciting! I'll be in NV for a couple of days then they're taking me with them on their trip to CA! Such dear friends, I'm soooo excited to be with them!
